Profile

Compass Security Network Computing AG is an incorporated company based in Rapperswil (Saint Gall) Switzerland specialising in security assessments and forensic investigations. We carry out penetration tests and security reviews for our clients, enabling them to assess the security of their IT systems against hacking attacks, as well as advising them on suitable measures to improve their defences. At the moment 20 employees are working for Compass Security and we are continuously looking for new security analysts.

Compass Security offers forensic investigations to businesses which may have been the victims of an attack, in order to secure and analyse possible evidence. The independent testimony of Compass Security can be used in a court case as a basis for presumptions of guilt or innocence.

Compass Security has considerable experience in national and international projects. Close collaboration with the technical universities of Lucerne and Rapperswil enable Compass to perform applied research. Thus our security specialists are always up-to-date.

Compass Security was founded in February 1999 by Walter Sprenger and Ivan Buetler. The annual sales in 2006 reached about 2 Mio CHF.
